Flower Patch Note Card Set

Hey Stampers,

Is it as HOT where you live as it is where I am??? It has been in the mid 30’s (Celsius of course) all week and we are MELTING! If you aren’t aware, where I am in Newfoundland we are not used to this heat at all. Nobody has air conditioners or anything, and it is CRAZY! So lucky for me (and for you), my craft room is in my basement where it is a lot cooler - so I have had a lot of opportunity to cool off and stamp some fun projects! I am showing you today the Hostess gift I gave at my Club on Tuesday. It was a huge hit - take a look!!

So that is the cool packaging - isn’t it sweet??? I am SO in love with the Flower Patch stamp set and coordinating Flower Fair framelits. So I made these cute flowers with that, and then added it to a tag I made using the Banner Framelits and Hardwood stamp. Love that combo! Adds a nice rustic garden feel or something. Love it! So - do you want to see what was inside this fun bag!?!

Ta-da! 5 fun matching notecards! They are a big larger than a regular note card, at 4” square. Again, I used the Flower Patch and Hardwood stamps. I made my own DSP using the Flower Patch actually, and then used my Circles Framelits to cut it out! Love that look. Then each card it a bit different!

Here is a close up of one of the cards. I just LOVE the Gold Bakers Twine, don’t you??

Well thats it for me today!! I hope you liked todays project. Thanks a lot for visiting me today and Happy Stamping!!

Sassy Work of Art Gift Tag

Hey Stampers,

At my Stamp Club last month, I offered some fun Ribbon Shares from the new catalogue to my gals. So, I ordered them and split them up and TONIGHT at Club I get to give them out!! I wanted to make them pretty (or course) so here is the fun packaging I came up with!! Love it!!

Cute and simple - my fav! I just LOVE the Gusseted Cello Bags that SU sells - you can fit a TON of stuff in them! Don’t these ribbons all look so beautiful in there?? I was just playing around with my color coach and came up with this color combo of Blackberry Bliss, Old Olive and Sahara Sand. I think its a winner!!

I was so tickled with how well the tag from the Chalk Talk framelits fit on the bag under the ribbon. I just gathered the bag under the bow and stuck the tag around it. So easy! I think one of my fav new tools from the catalogue is this Hearts Border Punch. The Old Olive piece is so nice as a trim - and then the tiny Champagne Glimmer Paper Heart?? Could NOT be cuter!!

Well thats it for me today! Hope you liked my fun tag and package. Thanks so much for visiting today and Happy Stamping!!

Kinda Eclectic Note Cards

Hey Stampers,

I am so excited because tomorrow night is my monthly Stamp Club! I just love getting together with my fun gals and having a wonderful time stamping!! The card I am showing you today is one they will me tomorrow night. I am SO in love with the Kinda Eclectic stamp set - its a must have for sure! So I want to show them how awesome it is too!! I paired it with the Flower Pot DSP and our awesome Note Cards and Envelopes! Take a look!!

Isn’t that fun? Love all the bold colors in this DSP. And every stamped image on this card is from the Kinda Eclectic stamp set! Isn’t that great? And nothing like a few banners of DSP to make a quick and easy card look just beautiful. And of course - I had to add some bling! This card has it with the new Gold Glimmer Paper and Gold Sequins. Love it! And where I used the Note Cards and Envelopes, you can see a little peek at the bottom of the picture where they will be decorating the envelope and using the Envelope Liners Framelits. I use them for EVERY card I send out!!

Well thats it for me today! I hope you enjoyed todays card. If you would like to make something like this (and you live in my area), please contact me and join us! Or if not, head on over to my online store and pack up some of these fab products for yourself! Have a great day and Happy Stamping!!

Sweet & Kind Koala

Hey Stampers,

Hey its me!! And yay its friday!! Hope you all have some fun stuff planned for this weekend! I have my Stamp Club on Tuesday, so I will be stamping this weekend making sure everything is ready to go! I am back today with yet ANOTHER project using one of the amazing single stamps from the catty! I don’t think I have ever bought as many singletons from a catty before! They are all just so great! The one I am showing today its Kind Koala. Oh Em Gee this stamp is SOOOO stinkin' cute!! I knew as soon as I saw it that it was a must have for me! Take a look!

Isn’t that so ca-ute!?!? Squeee!! I heart him. And I was pumped to use some of the NEW Blendabilities colors on him! The Smoky Slate trio was just MADE for this stamp I think (haha). I am still just learning to use these alcohol markers, but I am pleased with how it turned out! I think next time I will use even more of the dark color for a bit more contrast. And I used the Melon Mambo trio along with the medium Daffodil Delight for the sweet little flower. Love it! The first 6 colors are available for you to order RIGHT NOW and the remaining 6 colors will be available August 1st! Yay!

I wanted to brighten up this card, so the Sweet Taffy DSP was a perfect match! Love that fun Melon Mambo pattern. And I used the Scallop Tag Topper Punch for my stamped image and some Daffodil Delight that I embossed with the Arrows folder. SO fun!

Well thats it for me today! Thanks a lot for visiting - please come back again soon! Hugs to you all and Happy Stamping!!

Memorable Moments Golf Birthday

Hey Stampers,

My Mother in Law asked me to make a fun card for a friend of hers that was turning 70! And she just LOVES golf - so I was excited to create something celebrating her and her fav past time! I really like what I came up with!!

Isn’t that adorable!?! I have seen a bunch of different gold style cards over the years, but had never made one. I think my favourite parts of the card is the cute flag and my sun! The flag was made with the Petite Pennants punch, and then stamped with the cute polka dots stamp from Endless Birthday Wishes. My 70 was stamped with the Memorable Moments stamp set, and then I fussy cut them out and added them to my flag. Cute! And see that sun!? Its my fav image from the new Kinda Eclectic set! Such a fun stamp - and now its a sun peeking over the horizon on those early tee times! Hahaha

Well thats it for me this morning!! Hope you enjoyed my fun golf card. Thanks so much for stopping by and Happy Stamping!!

Hey There Buds Catty CASE

Hey Stampers,

I want to send a shout out to all my demo friends on their way to Convention in Salt Lake City today! Last year I had the most AMAZING time at Convention, and I know that you all will have an awesome week!! I am sharing a CAS of a card in the annual catty again today. The Hey There Bugs single stamp is another awesome single stamp this year! I am loving all the single stamps this year. Take a peek at this sweet card!

This stamp is SUCH a fun one! I love any image I get to color with my markers and stamp once for a multi coloured look. When I made this card, I hadn’t yet gotten the new Polka Dot embossing folder with the HUGE circles - so I substituted with this old Cricut one that I have had for ages. I also used one of the retired heart clips from a last years Occasions Catty to tie my sweet Crisp Cantaloupe Thick Twine bow to. Love that twine!! Fingers crossed we get more colors of it soon!!

Well thats it for me today!! Thanks so much for visiting - have a great day and Happy Stamping!!

Calling All Heroes! A Super Birthday

Hey Stampers,

As SOON as I saw the Calling All Heroes photopolymer set online, I KNEW it was a must have for me! As a momma of a little boy - it is SUCH a fun set to make things for him and his little friends! And there are some girl stamps in this set too if you have a little Wonder Woman or Super Girl on your hands! I finally got some time to play with this fun set last night - and I love what resulted! Take a look for yourself!

Isn’t that just super?! Hahaha This color combo of Island Indigo, Old Olive, Tangerine Tango and Crushed Curry (with a splash of Chocolate Chip) is so bright and fun. And I am still SO excited about the awesome Alphabet Rotary stamp! It was a breeze to create my sentiment using the alphabet from this set and the rotary set! Love that.

Well thats it for me today on this beautiful and sunny Sunday! I am going to head outside with my little boy now and enjoy the sunshine. Thanks so much for coming by today and Happy Stamping!

A Work of Art File Tabs Card

Hey Stampers,

I have a super simple card to share with you guys today! It uses the new (and so awesome) File Tab Edgelits! A very easy way to add some fun detail to a card base. And of course, I am using one of my fav new stamp sets - Work of Art! Take a look!!

I am super in love with that fun tab! I am thinking of all kinds of ways to use it now!! But my fav part, is that it lets a strip of that Moonlight DSP peek out! That DSP is one of my favs. One of the best things about it is that it uses new In Colors! I used 3 of the 5 on this card - Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey & Lost Lagoon. This would be a very easy card to mass produce as well - always a plus!

Well thats it for me today! I hope you have a wonderful weekend! My hubby is going away for 2 night, so I am hoping to get some quality stamping time in one my little one goes to bed. Have a great day and Happy Stamping!

The Great Outdoors Camping Journal

Hey Stampers,

I have the MOST FUN project to show you all today!! This past weekend a few of my friends and I (along with our kiddos) went to Moms and Tots camp! We had the most amazing time - swimming, singing, having a campfire, sleeping in sleeping bags in a fun cabin … I don’t know who had more fun, our preschoolers or us Mommas!! I knew we would have a blast, and want to document our fun weekend, so I made each of the “kids” some fun camp journals! The Great Outdoors stamp set and new Kraft Journals from SU were just perfect!! Take a look!!

Aren’t they just SO cute!?!? The kids (and moms) all loved them and can’t wait to fill them full of pics and memories. I coloured the little tents with my Blendabilities - I am so pleased with how they turned out on this heavy Kraft paper! Add a strip of DSP in the coordinating color, some bakers twine and the Skinny Mini Alphabet to spell out their names and you’re done!! Take a closer look at Jacksons ...

Love, love, LOVE!!

Well thats it for me today!! Thanks so much for coming by. Do you have a fun event you can create some of these journals for?? Even a “Summer 2014” theme would be great!! Have a great day and Happy Stamping!!

CCC# 038: July Cards Challenge "This Beautiful Earth"

Hey Stampers,

Welcome welcome!! Its another fun challenge over at Catherine and Cathy Create today! The cards challenge theme for this month is Beautiful Earth. So anything with Nature is what we are looking for!! I knew just what set I wanted to use for this theme - the awesome Nuts About You hostess set!! LOVE that cute one! Take a peek!!

Isn’t that CUTE!?! I so love that awesome tree. And those birdies!! Adorable. I was totally “nuts” with my Paper Snips for this card - I fussy cut out those leaves! Yes I am insane. But it was TOTALLY worth it! As much as I love colouring my stamps with my markers, there is something about using ink pads that gives such vibrant and even color! Especially for super solid stamps like this one. So I used my Tombo Liquid Glue to adhere the little green leaves right on top of the brown ones, a technique called Paper Piecing. Love it! And my Stamp-a-ma-jig also got a work out. I used it for placing my little birds in just the the right place.

My color combo of Soft Suede, Wild Wasabi, Crushed Curry and Rose Red just says summer to me. So bright and cheerful! Because my stamped scene was so busy, I wanted the rest of the card to be clean and simple. Hello Whisper White! I embossed my card base with my new fav folder - Polka Dot. I’m in love with those huge circles!! And a little bow in Crushed Curry Bakers Twine was a perfect little touch.

Well thats all for me today! Please come on over to CCC and play along with us, won't you?? I hope you are enjoying your summer and have a wonderful day! Happy Stamping!

Celebrate with Stars!

Hey Stampers,

Happy 4th of July to all my American friends and followers!! I have seen so many awesome 4th cards over the past couple of weeks, I got super inspired! but of course, a 4th card would be a HUGE waste up here in Canada - so I added some Crushed Curry to my Cherry Cobbler and Island Indigo and I am sure I could use this as a birthday or any other type of celebration card! I am SO in love with the Stars Framelits - take a look at the fun card I made with them!!

Making frames with these stars I think is my favourite part! And the Dotty Angles set is a TOTAL must have! Love that fun triangle design! And of course - a bit of bling was in order, so the Silver Glimmer Paper was a must add! And to me, the shape of the mini star punch from the Merry Minis punch pack is an awesome match for the shape of these framelits. Did you know they are part of our Holiday Carryover List and still available for purchase?? Yay!! Check out the Holliday Carryover List here!!

I love how this fun card turned out! Thanks so much for visiting today and Happy Stamping!

CCC# 037: July Challenge “National Pride"

Hey Stampers,

Happy Canada Day!! Or if you are in the States Happy Early 4th! OR if you are in any other country - happy July!! Hahaha Our July Challenge over on CCC this month is National Pride!! So put together a fun project to share your love for your country!!

Here is a fun card I made!! I think if would be a great hostess "thank you” for an invite to a Canada Day BBQ. OR a fun invite for your own soiree!! I am so in looooove with Red Glimmer Paper, aren’t you? And how much more Canadian can you get than a big, sparkly, red Maple Leaf, eh?? LOL I really needed to add something more than just red and white, so some Smoky Slate, Basic Grey and Basic Black really added some punch! And my fun sentiment is from the must have And Many More set ! Think of it as Teeny Tiny Wishes Part 2 !!

Well thats it for me today!! Please come by Catherine and Cathy Create and play along! The samples our design ten have made for this month are SO awesome (as usual). Have a wonderful holiday and Happy Stamping!!
