Morning Post Rose Frame

Hey Stampers,

A couple of months ago I shared with you that my baby daughter Rose had died in January. Today I am showing you a beautiful frame that I decorated for her! There is a little table in my house that we have all of the things that remind us of her on it - the dried roses from her funeral, her little urn of ashes, a few toys, candles and figurines. It is a very special area to me! I was browsing in Wal Mart last week and came across a beautiful frame. If she was still alive, I would have bought it to put her picture in. But where I don’t have any pictures I decided to decorate it for her instead ! And I used a few of my favourite retiring items to do so. Take a look !

Isn’t that just lovely ? I am so happy with the results. I used one of my favourite retiring stamp sets, the Morning Post alphabet, to spell out her hame. Embossed in Gold it is just a beautiful effect. I then layered it onto 2 of my favourite pinks - Rose Red and Blushing Bride. Very soft and vintage. Paired with Very Vanilla is is just stunning. And I used the gorgeous Spiral Flower die to make some 3d (what else) Roses ! I dug out my hot glue gun for them to make sure they stay together for a long time. My background Very Vanilla was embossed with the beautiful Pretty Print folder which goes with the Morning Post just perfectly. I then sponged it with Sahara Sand ink to make the script really pop.

Thank you so much for coming by to see my project today. I hope it was ok that I shared it with you ! Have a wonderful day and Happy Stamping !!
