CCC #053: Walking in a Winter Wonderland

Hey Stampers,

Welcome to the LAST Catherine and Cathy Create Cards Challenge! Cathy and I have decided life is just TOO busy to try and keep up with everything, so we have decided that after next weeks Tags Challenge, CCC will be closing. We have had so much fun playing along with our Design Team and all of you - thanks so much for the support!!

So my last Cards Challenge is “Walking in a Winter Wonderland” … anything wintery, snowy or freezy goes!! Take a look at what I came up with!!

I am using a couple retired items on my card today. I still LOVE the Festive Flurry framelits from last year, and i thought the Silver Foil paper would be gorgeous to use with them! The awesome Mingle All the Way image fits so well in the 2-1/2” Circle Punch, and just layers beautifully onto my silver snowflake. So cute!! of course, I had to use some of the beautiful Silver and Snowflake Frosted Sequins to jazz it up. Love it! I used last years Winter Frost DSP for my simple background … love those stripes!!

Well that is all for me today! Thanks again for stopping by. Have a great day and Happy Stamping!!

CCC #052: December Challenge “Home for the Holidays"

Hey Stampers,

Welcome to our December Challenge! We are showcasing December Home Decor this month - come on over to Catherine and Cathy Create to see all the inspiration our Designers have for you!!

I thought a fun Christmas Ornament would be cute. So I made a cute 3D star using my Star Framelits. Love how it turned out!!

CUTE right!? I cut 3 of the 2nd largest start with the Under the Tree DSP. LOVE the heavy weight of that paper! I just scored them down the middle, and put them all together for this 3D star! The Red Glimmer Paper is so lovely with the Joy thinlit from the Wonderful Wreath framelit dies. Just added it with a couple glue dots. Cute! A 1/8” Hole punched in the top has my Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine so I can hang it on my tree. Cant wait to make more of these fun guys for my tree!!

Thanks a lot for coming by today. See you soon and Happy Stamping!!

CCC #050: "Delighted with DSP" November Cards Challenge

Hey Stampers,

I have a quick and easy card to share today for our November Cards Challenge over on Catherine and Cathy Create! The theme this month is Delighted with DSP. Especially this time of year, I am looking for lovely cards that are quick to make and easy to re-produce. And this card is one of them! Choose a gorgeous pattern of DSP and make it the star of your card! Take a look!!

With 48 sheets to use, the Trim the Tree DSP Stack is a great go to for this type of card! This Garden Green and Pistachio Pudding snowflake pattern is definitely my fav of the bunch. Love it! And a green snowflake!? So unusual!! So I paired it with some lovely Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon and a sentiment. Mine is from the vintage Greetings of the Season set. This beautiful Merry Christmas fit perfectly in the Project Life Cards and Labels Framelit, and i just added a Candy Dot to finish it off. So easy!

Well that is all for me today! Please come by CCC and play along with us! You would win a fun prize!! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend and Happy Stamping!!

CCC #049: Thankful for Fall November Challenge

Hey Stampers,

A new month means a new challenge over on CCC!! Our challenge this month is Thankful for Fall, and I knew I wanted to create a fun layout. I have been really back into my scrapbooking lately! Yay! My little family had an awesome time at a local farm a couple weekends ago. They have a pumpkin patch, a corn maze and a petting zoo - Jackson had a ball!! So I thought it would be the perfect occasions to match with our theme! Take a look!!

I have not much of the awesome Motley Monsters DSP left over father my busy Hallowe’en, but I am so glad I had that small scrap of the pumpkin design! Love it!! Paired with the woodgrain and Bermuda Bay stars, it looks so awesome!! Of course, I had to use the Fall Fest bundle again. Those pumpkins (and coordinating framelits) are my fav ever!! And of course, with awesome pictures of my family, this page turned out so great!! Love it!!

Well that is all for me today! Please come by to Catherine and Cathy Create to join us! You could win this months fun prize!! Thanks a lot for dropping by and Happy Stamping!!

Happy New Home!

Hey Stampers,

One of my best friends is moving into a new house this week! Her and her husband have building their dream home for a long time, and its finally ready! Myself and my hubby went to visit last night. We have been there before of course, but it seems so real with their furniture and everything there too!! So I made a cute card (of course) using the awesome Holiday Home stamp set. I just love it! Take a look ...

I just love paper piecing. Thats when you stamp the same image a few times on different card stocks and cut out the pieces and layer them together. Like I did on my cute house with the brick, door, windows and roof! Adorable, right?? I just love the color combo of Cherry Cobbler, Island Indigo, Hello Honey and Soft Suede. I made the base of the house in the new Kraft paper too, which so such great. I wanted a kind of rustic feel, so instead of using Whisper White I used the Naturals White. SUCH a difference! I just love it.

Well that is all for me today! Thanks so much for dropping by. Have a great day and Happy Stamping!!

Bloom With Hope Birthday

Hey Stampers,

Sharing a card using the awesome Bloom with Hope hostess stamp set today! I just love this fab set, and the Blendabilities markers are just perfect for colouring it! Take a look!!

There was some major fussy cutting involved with this card, but I think it really turned out beautifully! Those leaves were kind of difficult to cut out, but it was total worth it!! I am getting a little better at colouring with the Blendabilities - they are so fun to use!! I just love the nice sentiments in with this set as well. Love when sets have both images and words!!

Well that is all for me today! Thanks a lot for visiting. Hope you have a wonderful weekend and Happy Stamping!!

Twas the Night Before Christmas ...

Hey Stampers,

I have been in SUCH a scrapbooking mood lately!! And its a good thing, because I am pretty behind in my memory keeping. Just doing last Christmas!! But, I am really loving the fun pictures I am using and cute layouts I am making! Thought I would share this fun page documenting Christmas Eve from last year. Take a look …

I just LOVE the traditions surrounding Christmas. The rituals of hanging up the stockings, putting out cookies for Santa and waiting for Santa himself to arrive! My son loves them as well. I thought I would combine these fun events into a fun page. The paper is just some stuff from my stash - but I paired it
with some cute SU products. The retired Festive Flurry framelits make a fun window for some Champagne Glimmer Paper to pee through. I also lot my glimmer Tree using the Tree Punch. And the Good Greetings stamp set adds a fun Christmassy element too!! But I think my MAIN must have for scrapbooking lately is the awesome Project Life Day to Day stamp set. I use it on EVERY page! I just love the days of the week, months and number stamps. So excellent for adding the date to pages!! Love it!

Well that is all for me today! I hope you liked my scrapbook page! Thanks so much for stopping by today and Happy Stamping!!

Pumpkin Thanksgiving Table Favours

Hey Stampers,

With (Canadian) Thanksgiving this weekend, I thought I would share these adorable table favours, perfect for a Thanksgiving dinner to decorate your table! I am SO in love with the Curvy Keepsakes Box Thinlits Die, aren’t you!? You can create so many cute items - not to mention just making it out of beautiful DSP or stamped cardstock. I decided to make it into a cute pumpkin, and we made it at my September Stamp Club. My girls LOVED it - take a look!!

Adorable, right? And it can hold a lot of little treats too!! Yummy!! I cut it out with Pumpkin Pie cardstock and then used the line image from the Work of Art stamp set to stamp on my stripes to make it look more “pumpkin-y”. I added a little leaf (stamped and die cut) from the Fall Fest bundle, an Autumn Wooden Element leaf and a cute tag made with the Good Greetings set and the Itty Bitty Banners. I just trimmed one end of the banner into an arrow shape, and punched it with my 1/8” Handheld Hole Punch. Cute right!? This was tied around my handle with Linen Thread and then some Mossy Meadow Satin Ribbon in a little knot as well. LOVE that rich Mossy Meadow color!!

Well that is all for me today! I am so looking forward to the long weekend! Hope you are too (if you are Canadian haha). Thanks a lot for dropping by today and Happy Stamping!!

CCC #047: "Enter if You Dare" October Card Color Challenge!

Hey Stampers,

Welcome to another fun challenge for Catherine and Cathy Create! I just love Hallowe’en, I mean it is my birthday after all. So I always go ALL out around this time of year! I We are having fun Color Challenge over on CCC for our Cards Challenge this month! Traditional Hallowe’en is always Black an Orange but I love adding Green and Purple to the mix as well!! So make a fun card using these colors and share it with us!! Here is a look at the card I made :)

CUTE right!? I love that fun ghost from Fall Fest. I embossed him with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder onto some Basic Black cardstock - he turned out so cute!! And of course, the matching framelits are a must!! My fun background is i think my fav part of this card though. I masked off that centre section of my card with some Post It’s and then used my Dots mask from the Dots and Stripes pack along with a Sponge Dauber and some Pumpkin Pie ink to make these fun polka dots! Of course, you can make the polka dots with a sponge dauber and no mask, but I wanted to use the mask as a guide so my polka dots were all perfectly arranged hahaha

Also a heads up about the awesome Good Greetings stamp set used here. Isn’t that font just so fun!? You can earn that exclusive stamp set yourself until October 31st with a qualifying order or workshop of $325. Let me know if you want to host a party OR place an order yourself!!

Thanks so much for dropping by today. Please join us over on CCC - you could win a prize! Have a great day and Happy Stamping!!

Om Nom Nom Monster Munchie Mix

Hey Stampers,

Hope you are having a good day - yay for Friday!! I had my October Stamp Club last night, and we had a great time!! I am sharing with you today my cute Hostess gift. A treat bag of yummy snacks that I decorated with the Freaky Friends and Ghoulish Greetings stamp sets. Love them! Take a look!

I thought the “Om Nom Nom” was too cute. Doesn’t it sound like something a hungry monster might say!? And it fit in hat Word Bubbles framelit so perfectly!! And really, except for the addition of the little bat, this treat bag could be for any time of year - not just Hallowe’en. I used some of the (surprise, surprise) Motley Monsters DSP for my tag, as well as the Banners and Deco Labels framelits.

Here is another angle of the bag. I just love that Tangerine Tango Two Tone Trim. Nice and thick and soft.

That is all for me today! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Thanks for dropping by and Happy Stamping!

CCC #046: “Happy Hallowe’en” October Challenge

Hey Stampers,

Welcome to October! One of my fav months, because I LOVE fall and Hallowe’en AND Hallowe’en is my birthday! Lots of fun in October for sure! And of course, a new month means a new challenge over on Catherine and Cathy Create!! Our theme this month is Happy Hallowe’en, so whip up a super cute Hallowe’en project and come on over and share it with us!! I am sharing cute treat bags that I am making with my girls at Stamp Club tomorrow night. Take a look!!

I love doing up fun treats for my sons little friends, but I DONT want them to take forever! This one is cute, simple and QUICK to make - which is a must! As you know, I am obsessed with the Motley Monsters DSP so I chose the cute pumpkins pattern and used one of the pumpkins from the Fall Fest stamp set for my stamped image. Love how the photopolymer set makes it so easy to use ink pads and STILL the stem is a different color than the pumpkin! Awesome.

And here is a close up of just the bag topper. I used the Gusseted Cello Bags from SU and I LOVE them. They fit a ton, and are really nice. This largest scalloped oval from the Ovals Collection framelits fit over it perfectly! And then the largest plain oval is on the inside with the DSP. Cute right!?

Well that is all for me today! Please come by to Catherine and Cathy Create to join us in celebrating Hallowe’en! Thanks a lot for visiting and Happy Stamping!!

Pumpkins Stuffed with Happiness

Hey Stampers,

I just love it! The Hardwood background stamp is so wonderful, isn’t it? And that falling leaves pattern from Motley Monsters is so sweet. Love it! Just a clean and simple card thats perfect for fall.

Well that is all for me today! Thanks a lot for dropping by and Happy Stamping!!

Curious George Punch Art Invite!

Hey Stampers,

I have one VERY excited little boy on my hands today - his Birthday Party is tomorrow! I can’t believe my sweet boy is almost 4!! The theme for his birthday this year is Curious George, one of his fav tv shows! I previously shared the cute treat bags that I made to give out to his friends, and today I am going to show you the fun invites I made! I just LOVE them! Take a look!!

Is that CA-UTE or what?!!? I knew I needed a monkey on this card (or course) so I created this guy using the Ovals Collection and Hearts Collection framelits! SO very easy! His ears were made with the Small Oval punch and the 3/4” Circle Punch. The Chocolate Chip and new Kraft cardstock were perfect colouring too. The colors in the plates and cups and everything were these primary colors, so I needed to break out my (now dwindling) stash of Gumball Green and pair it with Real Red, Pacific Point and of course Daffodil Delight. You can’t have Curious George without yellow, right!? Just love the big polka dots of the embossed piece and the smaller stamped ones from the Dotty Angles stamp set. Like confetti - ready to party!!

Well that is all for me today! I know I will have a VERY fun and busy weekend - I hope you do too! Thanks so much for coming by today and Happy Stamping!

Gold Soiree 70th Birthday !!

Hey Stampers,

It was my mother in laws 70th birthday on Monday, so my father in law asked me to make a gorgeous card for her from him! I knew I wanted a nice big 70 on it, and I went from there. Take a peek at what  came up with!!

LOVE it!! I used my Cricut to cut out my 70 with the Gold Glimmer paper. So sportily and gorgeous!! And then I looked through my DSP and decided that the Gold Soiree was the perfect one. The colors and patterns are so lovely! I made this card a Gate Fold card, and its finished size is 6”x6”. Really big and impressive! To dress it up, I heat am bossed the small butterflies from Papillon Potpourri in Gold Embossing Powder and punched them with the Bitty butterfly punch. Then some little flowers from Petite Petals got embossed with Early Espresso powder and coloured with my Calypso Coral Blendabilities. Lots going on here, but SO fabulous!! My awesome mother in law loved it!!

Well that is all for me today! Thanks so much for dropping by and Happy Stamping!!

Fall Fest Treats

Hey Stampers,

Over the weekend, I was in the mood to do a bit of baking! One thing I made (which I can’t really call baking) was a yummy fall Caramel Nut Snack Mix. It turned out AMAZING but made a ton, so I knew that if I didn’t “gift" some of it away, I would end up eating the whole thing. SO of course, I made little treat bags filled with the yummy goodness!! I kept with the fall theme, and used my Fall Fest bundle to make some fun tags. Check it out!!

Isn’t that so cute!? I used some of the Motley Monsters DSP as well to add some color. I just love the natural look of Naturals White cardstock, so I used that for my tag that I cut out with the Banners framelits. And the yummy Crushed Curry Striped Grosgrain was just beautiful to tie up the Gusseted Cellophane Bags.

Here is an up close look at the tag. I just love it!!

And a shot of all of my bags of treats, ready to be given to friends and family!!

Well that is it for me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day and Happy Stamping!!

Sassy Four Feathers

Hey Stampers,

I am SUPER excited for my Stamp Club tonight! Check out this super cute card that we will make tonight! I love the Four Feathers stamp set and matching framelits, don’t you? I got inspiration for this card from the amazing Erica Cerwin over on Pink Buckaroo Designs. Her card was clean and simple, so I decided to kick it up a notch. Look at what I came up with!

LOVE it! Those feathers are so fun, aren’t they!? And that DSP is from Motley Monsters pack - not just for Hallowe’en!! Sassy Salutations is one of my fav sentiment sets, that font is so funky!

Well that is all for me today! Thanks a lot for dropping by. Have a great day and Happy Stamping!!

Lovely Choose Happiness

Hey Stampers,

I was SO excited by this card I created last night, that I had to share it with you today! I just LOVE the Choose Happiness stamp set, so when I got a little box of goodies yesterday that had that set in it, I made a card with it right away. Love the vintage style of this one! Take a look!

I am so pleased with this card! Its pretty simple, but the effect is just lovely. And that embossing folder - what a show stopper!!! Its called Filigree Frame and its in the Holiday catalogue. But, I am so pleased that its not really a Christmas design so I can use it on cards like this!! This color combo of Very Vanilla, Sahara Sand, Night of Navy, Hello Honey and Cherry Cobbler is so nice too. There isn’t a LOT of color, but I like the more neutral palette with the pops of deep colors a lot.

Well that is all for me today! Thanks a lot for dropping by and Happy Stamping!!

Dear Heart, Happy Birthday!

Hey Stampers,

Happy Monday to you! It is a very happy one around here, because it is my Dad’s birthday! We are having some yummy supper tonight including a delicious Chocolate Cake that I made (with Jackson’s help) yesterday. Can’t wait! So of course, I have a birthday card to share! I will share mine at another time, today it is all about Jacksons card. I love making cute cards to give friends and family from Jackson. I know that he didn't MAKE it, but he will sign it himself (pretty good for a 3 year old) hahaha. I knew the perfect stamp set to use, the photopolymer set Dear Heart. Its perfect for little boys! I saw an awesome card on Pinterest by Nicole Tugrul using the set, and I decided to make a version of her fun card! Take a look!!

Isn’t that so cute? I love the little boys in this set, and there are a lot of fun accessories in it too like the baseball, football and alligator that I used on this card. The “Oh, Boy!” sentiment is from the set as well, and I sued the Alphabet Rotary Stamp to create my Granddad. I then cropped it out using the Banners Framelits. So fun!! The color combo of Tangerine Tango, Old Olive and Night of Navy is such a great one, isn't it? Perfect for a masculine card. I used the Blendabilities to color in my little boy and then fussy cut him out with my Paper Snips. Easy peasy!

Well that is all for me today! Thanks a lot for stopping by and Happy Stamping!!

Beer Mug Punch Art Card

Hey Stampers,

This HUGE card is one that I made to give to my hubby’s best friend Boyd for his birthday. Uncle Boyd (as my son calls him) is a wonderful man, and my Brian’s other half. They work together AND play together - so he is a fixture at our house! One of the staples of any social time my husband and Boys spend together, is sharing some beers. SO a beer card was a necessity! I had such fin making this card - check it out!!

Isn’t that awesome!? Now, it might be hard to tell from the pic, but this card is ginormous. LOL It’s on a 6x6 card base (made from a 6” x 12” piece of cardstock) and the mug still hang off the top of the card  about an inch! So of course, I used my Envelope Punch Board to make a custom envelope for it! All of my circle punches got a workout to make all of this foamy bubbles, made out of Very Vanilla cardstock and sponged with Hello Honey ink. I love this color combo of Hello Honey, Basic Gray and Lost Lagoon, don’t you?! And even though I did it in Lost Lagoon, the Hardwood background stamp reminded me of a wooden bar like Boyd has in his shed. The fun sentiment comes from the Happy Hour stamp set - perfect for a cold one!!

Well that is everything for me today! Hope you enjoyed this fun card. Thanks so much for coming by and Happy Stamping!!

Bloom For You CAS

Hey Stampers,

I have a very fun card to share today! I got lots of inspiration from the awesome Mary Brown for this card, though mine actually ended up being very different from hers haha. I just love the Bloom For You single stamp and matching Fun Flower punch, and paired with the Sweet Sadie washi tape - this card turns out super cute!! Take a look!!

I am so into this fun card! For some reason my colors look off in this pic, but the color combo of Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding and Basic Black is so lovely. The Sweet Sadie washi tape collection is what the color combo comes from, and I just love the cute patterns on that washi!! If you are wondering how I made the cute corners on my Whisper White layer, I just stuck the corners of my cardstock into the Sweetheart Punch and made the cute little detail. Fun right!?! Love that look!

Well that is all for me today - thank you so much for dropping by! Have a great day and Happy Stamping!!

Watercolor Thank You

Hey Stampers,

I was inspired by my very crafty friend Cathy Caines for todays card. She did a guest post over on the blog for Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine and I thought I would take one of her simple ideas and build on it!. I have been LOVIGN the look of watercoloring lately, and I thought instead of using one color like she did, I would use three and make them blend for a more rainbow effect! I am just in LOVE what what I came up with! Take a look!!

Isn’t that awesome!?! The way that my Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry and Bermuda Bay inks went together is just fabulous. I got some orange and green colouring in there where they ran together. Such a fun technique!! Just use watercolor paper, ink pads and your Aqua Painter and thats it! Make sure you heat emboss your stamped image before hand with white embossing powder, and the ink won’t stick to it! Cool right!?!?

Well that is everything for me today! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Thanks so much for visiting and Happy Stamping!!

I was inspired by Back to School this month, and thought that Primary Colors would make a fun challenge! Why don’t you make something bright and colorful and play along with us!! Take a look at my project!

I was SO excited by the Fry Box Die when I saw it in the annual catalogue. I thought it would make a perfect favour box for my sons birthday party! He is having a Curious George theme for his 4th Birthday next month - so I paired a Daffodil Delight fry box with the cute monkey image from the Zoo babies stamp set. I just love how it turned out! Some touches of Gumball Green (retired I know - but it matched all the Curious George accessories I bought haha), Pacific Point and Real Red and I was done!  I will post the cute invites I made soon too, so make sure to check back!!

Gold Soiree Pillow Box

Hey Stampers,

I don’t know about you, but I LOVE giving little gifts to my friends and co-workers. There is nothing like beautiful little box or bag filled with yummy treats to make someones day!! I am sharing such a sweet treat with you today! I love making Pillow Boxes. And they are so EASY! Talk a look at !!

Isn’t that just “darling”?! The pillow box itself is very simple to create. You can make it any size, just make a flat tube and score the curved ends with a dessert plate! Love it!! Here is a pic of the fun ends.

I used the adorable Gold Soiree DSP for this box. Those polka dots are so fun! I used the backside of the same pattern to create the belly band for a bit of added interest. The yummy Gold Satin Ribbon adds a nice touch as well.

Here is a close up of the fun tag. I used the stamp set that “matches” the Gold Soiree DSP - Hello Darling. I love colouring images like this with my Stampin’ Write markers. I did a quick crop with the Chalk Talk framelits, and layered it with a piece of Early Espresso cut with the Scallop Tag Topper Punch. Love that look!!

Well thats all for me today! Hope you have a great day and thanks so much for dropping by! Happy Stamping!!

I have a super fun summery card to share with you today! We made this beauty at my Stamp Club last night, and my girls loved it! It was their first time trying the Blendabilities Markers and they are hooked!! Love how the blending of the Cherry Cobbler, Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight made this fire look!! What do you think??

Super cute right? My cute sentiment is from the awesome Project Life set called "Remember This" - full of fun words and sayings! And of course, my campfire and roasting wiener is from one of my fav summer sets, The Great Outdoors. Love it!!

Well thats all for me today! Hope you have a wonderful weekend and Happy Stamping!!

Hi Rock Star !!

Hey Stampers,

Hope you are having a great week so far! I have my monthly Stamp Club tomorrow night - I can’t wait! I am sharing with you today one of the projects we are going to make. Lets have a look!

I LOVE stars. I even got a tattoo of one when I was 16 hahaha. So, when I saw all of the awesome star stuff we have available to us this year, I was SO excited! I wanted to share my love of the stars, so I created this card to really showcase them! Love those Stars Frameltis, and the matching Be The Star stamp set. A sneak peak on this card sf the AMAZING Star Confetti punch from the Holiday Catty. This might just be my fav punch ever!! Isn’t it just gorgeous!?!

Another fav part of this card is the cute Hi. I just used the Little Letters Thinlets to spell out my word, added one of the Star framelits and ran it through the Big Shot! And how cute is it with the Silver Fancy Foil Vellum!? Love it.

Well thats all for me today! Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great day and Happy Stamping!!

From Our Home to Yours

Hey Stampers,

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I had a great one, because on Friday my Holiday Catalogue Preorder came!! So I was playing with my new goodies all weekend. One of my fav sets is the Holiday Home photopolymer set. It is SO adorable and I can see using these adorable houses for all kinds of fun occasions! Included in the set are tons of fun little images so you can build your own little “scene” … so fun!! I decided to recreate a card that I saw in Stampin' Success. Take a look!!

Isn’t that so cute!? Loving the color combo of Pumpkin Pie, Hello Honey, Early Espresso, Baked Brown Sugar and the new Kraft paper. Very fall!! I also used the Naturals White cardstock for my layer, those little specks add a very rustic look don’t you think?? I used my Blendabilities to add color to the house, which I stamped onto the Kraft cardstock. And where this is a photopolymer set I could easily add my trees and leaves exactly where I wanted them. You’re HOW Old?!?

Hey Stampers,

Fun and quick b-day card for you all today!!

I totally love the Just Sayin’ stamp set and matching Word Bubbles framelits. I just wanted the outlines of the different bubbles for this card, so I broke out my Stampin’ Write Markers to ink up just the parts that I wanted. There was a TON of white space, so I decided to use some of the DSP Paper Stacks to create my rainbow polka dots piece along the bottom. Love it!!

Well thats all for me today! Hope you have a good weekend - Happy Stamping!!

You’ve Got Me !!

Hey Stampers,

Hope you are having a wonderful day! I have a cute card to show you today, using the great Something to Say stamp set. I love sending inspirational cards to people for no real “reason", only to brighten their day. It makes me feel good to make others feel good! And this duo of sentiments is perfect for such a card. Take a peek!

There were a lot of steps to this card. My framelits and punches got a workout to create all these layers, but it was totally worth it! And this color combo of Strawberry Slush, Coastal Cabana and Daffodil Delight is so bright and cheerful. Would really life someones spirits! One of my very favourite new tools from the Annual Catty is the Itty Bitty Accents punch pack, and I love how the small images from this set match them! Add some of that Thick Bakers Twine and its just a great look!!

Well thats all for me today. Why don’t you send a card to a friend in your life that could use a smile!! Thanks a lot for stopping by and Happy Stamping!

Sea Street Baby Card

Hey Stampers,

I have a super adorable card to share with you today! A card celebrating the impending arrival for a sweet baby boy! I am just in LOVE with the Sea Street set and matching Maritime DSP, and I thought it would made an adorable card for a little baby boy! What do you think??

Isn’t that SO cute!?! I love how simple it is. At first, I was all set to use the awesome octopus stamp. But I decided to use some of the littler images to create my fun focal image. The Starburst Framelits are so great, aren’t they? Love it! And the color combo of Real Red, Crumb Cake, Coastal Cabana and Night of Navy is SO fun. My sentiment comes from the Zoo Babies set.

I am loving the layout using strips of the DSP, I just chose 3 of my fav small patterns and used my Hexagon punch to great the banner ends. The Chevron embossing folder adds all that great texture as well.

Thats it for me today! Hope you have a great day and Happy Stamping!!

Amazing Birthday CASE

Hey Stampers,

Happy Weekend to you! Hope you are having a good one! The card I am sharing with you today is one we made at my Stamp Club last month. I am SO in love with so many blogs, and one of them belongs to the mega talented Amy O’Neill. Her stuff is SO amazing; she blows me away with every one of her stunning projects! If you have never been to her blog, you need to! When I saw this card by her, I knew it would be so perfect to CASE for my Stamp Club! What do you think?

Cute right!?! I love it. White embossing onto Crumb Cake cardstock is one of my fav looks - and this image from Dotty Angles is PERFECT for it! Amazing Birthday is such a fabulous set, and the little cluster of the images from it looks so cool! And of course, bright colors are my favs so yay for that!

Well thats it for me today! Have a wonderful weekend and Happy Stamping!!

CCC #041: Card Challenge - Happy 1st Birthday CCC !!!

Hey Stampers,

I can’t BELIEVE that Catherine and Cathy Create is a year old!! When Cathy and I first had the idea for this challenge blog, we had no idea that we would have such a fun time running it! We have made some great friends from the amazing talent on our Design Team and feel so fortunate to have all of YOU guys follow us and play along every month! A big thanks to you !!

So our Cards Challenge for August is Birthday Cards to celebrate! Take a look at the card I made!

This card is one I made for my Grandmother for her birthday. I got the fun idea from a card in the Hostess section of the Annual Catty. I LOVE the Bloom With Hope hostess set, and I think the card that I got my idea from really sold it for me! I did change it up a bit though!

As you know, I LOVE Gold - so I used some Gold Fancy Foil Designer Vellum for my background layer, along with some of the Gold Bakers Twine for some sophisticated bling. I am still getting the hang of the Blendabilities, but I love how these flowers turned out! The Wisteria Wonder marker trio is so rich looking, don’t you think??

I love using my framelits in different ways, so my stamped layer here is actually the Window Frames framelits, with 2 of the bumps from the sides trimmed off. Makes a while new shape! Love it!!

Well thats it for me today! Please come by to Catherine and Cathy Create and play along with us! We would love to have you. Thanks so much for dropping by and Happy Stamping!!

Sweet Cupcake Party Birthday Card

Hey Stampers,

Good day to you! I know that its Tuesday, but its my Monday because we had a long weekend where I had yesterday off!! Yay!! It was our towns Civic Holiday this part weekend and we were SUPER busy! A Half Marathon to raise money for the kids activities in our town that both me and my hubby volunteered at on Saturday morning, a fun dance with a live band on Saturday night, kids activities and two birthday parties is how I spent my super bust weekend!! And I am sharing one of the cards from one of the parties with you today! My son Jack’s friend Kaitlyn turned 4 and I wanted to make a super bright and fun card for her - so I broke out a new set I hadn’t had a chance to play with yet, Cupcake Party! I love how it turned out!!

Is that fun or what!?! I was SO excited when SU came out with a brand new stamp set to match the awesome Cupcake Builder Punch. As you know, I love any matching stamps and punches!! And yes, I am addicted to the awesome Sweet Taffy DSP hahaha. Love all of those bright colors! Perfect for a little girl. And check out my coloured Rhinestones! Love how the Blendabilities can make my bling match my project!!

Well thats it for me today! Hope you like my fun project! Thanks so much for dropping by today and Happy Stamping!!

CCC #040: "#InstaLove” August Monthly Challenge

Hey Stampers,

Welcome to another Monthly Challenge from Catherine and Cathy Create!! Our challenge this month is  inspired by anything Social Media! So if you love Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other sites like that - this challenge is for you! Break out your #’s and @’s and join us! I decided to create a scrapbook page for this challenge. Yes, you heard me! NOT a card - are you shocked?? huh Take a look at this cutie patootie page!!

Adorbs or what!?! I mean, with as gorgeous kid as my son is, you can’t go wrong. So a selfie of me and him was just perfect for this challenge!! I was inspired by 2 things on my desk for this page. The Banners Framelits and the Sweet Taffy DSP. I love all the bright colors! And the Banners are such a fun way to showcase all of these amazing patterns if paper. Another fav thing on this page is my masking! I am such a huge fan of the new masks SU has this year, so I used the Hearts one and some Strawberry Slush ink to make these fun little hearts. Its all about the love with my baby boy!!

My title is where the #InstaLove theme comes in! I love the Epic Alphabet photopolymer set, and where it has an @ symbol in it I thought it would be cute to make it work! Love how it turned out too!! The photopolymer stamps make it SO easy to line up your phrases and words! Yay!!

Well thats it for me today! I hope you come on over to CCC and join in with our challenge this month - you can win an awesome prize - the Amazing Birthday stamp set! Thanks so much for stopping by and Happy Stamping!!

Flower Patch Note Card Set

Hey Stampers,

Is it as HOT where you live as it is where I am??? It has been in the mid 30’s (Celsius of course) all week and we are MELTING! If you aren’t aware, where I am in Newfoundland we are not used to this heat at all. Nobody has air conditioners or anything, and it is CRAZY! So lucky for me (and for you), my craft room is in my basement where it is a lot cooler - so I have had a lot of opportunity to cool off and stamp some fun projects! I am showing you today the Hostess gift I gave at my Club on Tuesday. It was a huge hit - take a look!!

So that is the cool packaging - isn’t it sweet??? I am SO in love with the Flower Patch stamp set and coordinating Flower Fair framelits. So I made these cute flowers with that, and then added it to a tag I made using the Banner Framelits and Hardwood stamp. Love that combo! Adds a nice rustic garden feel or something. Love it! So - do you want to see what was inside this fun bag!?!

Ta-da! 5 fun matching notecards! They are a big larger than a regular note card, at 4” square. Again, I used the Flower Patch and Hardwood stamps. I made my own DSP using the Flower Patch actually, and then used my Circles Framelits to cut it out! Love that look. Then each card it a bit different!

Here is a close up of one of the cards. I just LOVE the Gold Bakers Twine, don’t you??

Well thats it for me today!! I hope you liked todays project. Thanks a lot for visiting me today and Happy Stamping!!
