Well ... time is STILL flying by !! its now October, can you believe it !?! And I only have 30 days left in my 20's !! Hahaha. And of course, a new month means a brand new challenge over at Catherine and Cathy Create !! I don't know about you, but when I think October, I think Hallowe'en !! Its one of my FAV days of the year (and not just because its my birthday). Our challenge this month is to create a project using the colors Orange and Black ... lets take a look at what I created !
Isn't that SO cool !?! And the coolest part is, I didn't even use a die or anything !! I trimmed a piece of the fab Witches' Brew DSP to 10" x 12" and then used my Sticky Strip to create a tube. I then folded the bottom 2" a couple times, trimmed up to my fold 4 times and folded these "tabs" over to create a bottom for my little bag !! SOOOO easy and quick too !! I tore the top edge of the bag then for a "spooky" look, and used my Paper Piercer to poke some holes for my 1/8" Pumpkin Pie Taffeta Ribbon to go through. I tied a nice bow, so its easy to get at the yummy treats inside.
The stamped images come from the Hallowe'en Bash stamp set. I heat embossed the bat image with Black Stampin' Emboss Powder onto some Pumpkin Pie cardstock, and layered it onto the fun Decorative Label stamp from the same set. Really cute when layered together, right ?? I can see me making a bunch of these fun bags this year - perfect for my co-workers !!
Well thats it for me today !! Don't forget to drop over to Catherine and Cathy Create to check out the fun projects the rest of the Design Team came up with !! And play along with us too !! Have a great day and Happy Stamping !!
