Christmas Year Round: Jolly Old St. Nick

Hey Stampers,

Yes yes ... I am still here. I am sorry I have been SO MIA lately. I have been so tired with this pregnancy and everything, that by the time I have all my regular Mom and Wife stuff done - I can't do anything but sit like a lump. Hahahahaha. And my son's 3rd birthday is this weekend as well, so I have been really busy preparing for that as well. A mother's work is never done as they say !!

So, its the 25th meaning its time for another Christmas Year Round post over on Catherine and Cathy Create !! The theme for September is Jolly Old St. Nick - love some of the big man in red !! Now, even though I PICKED this fun theme, I was shocked to discover I didn't have ANY Santa stamps. So, I had to get a bit creative and break out my punches for a little punch art !! I really like what I came up with - take a look !!

Isn't that SO cute !?! I am loving him. It is so fun to look at your punches in a different way and see what you can create with them !! I was a bit puzzled at first with what color of cardstock to use for his little face - but I think that the new Crisp Cantaloupe worked pretty well !! And the new Stylish Stripes embossing folder adds SUCH a fun bit of texture. Love it !! And if your wondering where that fun "Ho Ho Ho" sentiment comes from, its in the sweet little set "Oh Goodie" !! Its a super cute set with 4 sweet little sentiments. Totally check it out !!

Well thats it for me today !! Run over to Catherine and Cathy Create to get lots of fun ideas to spark your creativity !! And join us on our monthly challenges - you could be entered to win a fun prize !! Yay !! Have a good day and Happy Stamping !!

  1. Very nice! I love the touch of glitter for the fur on his hat instead of going all white with it!!!

  3. I hope you get some energy back soon :-) I was so fortunate that I never had any fatigue during my pregnancies. I did have to slow down near the end of each, to stave off pre-term labor, though. But, I guess my hormones are cashing in their rain check for bringing my life to a screeching halt, with some pre-menopause baloney. *sigh* And my kids are both grown and away at college :-O Thanks for sharing your cute card, it makes great inspiration for my Christmas Cards class this weekend :-D
