CCC Christmas Year Round: Oh Christmas Tree

Hey Stampers,

So ... no you're eyes do NOT deceive you !! This is a BLOG POST from ME !! I know I have been MAJORLY MIA lately, but I found out just before I went to Convention that I am pregnant with #2 ! I have been soooooo tired and lazy that I haven't had the energy to do much of anything, so stamping went wayyyyy down on the priority list. But I am hoping to start up again soon ! Probably not with the same "every day" consistency that I was used to, but there will be something LOL.

SO today is the first ever Christmas Year Round post over at Catherine and Cathy Create !! I LOVE Christmas (I may or may not have already started listening to my holiday tunes) and I am so happy to have a little head start on my Christmas Cards ! The theme for August is "Oh Christmas Tree" and since it was the first card I have made in a long time, I decided to keep it nice and simple, but still nice ! Take a look at what I came up with !!

Ian't that cute !?! And it would be super easy to mass produce. I hope you can tell from the picture, but my stamped tree (from the essential Lovely as a Tree set) and sentiment (from the Greetings of the Season set) were stamped and then embossed with the gorgeous Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder ! Aren't they just sparkly and gorgeous !?! its super easy to do too. Just ink up your stamp in Versamark, then stamp it on your Classic Ink pad, and then you have COLORED Versamark !! Then you can emboss with either the Clear or Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder for a FAB look !! LOVE it !!

After my Heat Embossing i also Dry Embossed my main layer using the Northern Flurry folder. Love those snowflakes going up the side of the card !! Very wintery and beautiful. And of course, to add to the sparkle, I used some Basic Rhinestones and the new 1/8" Silver Ribbon. So shimmery and beautiful, right !?!

Well thats it for me today !! Check over on the CCC blog to see what my fellow Christmas Team friend, Justin Krieger, created for this challenge !! Thanks so much for coming by today and Happy Stamping !!
