Storytime Treat Bags

Hey Stampers,

Well, the day is here !! The very last day you can buy items from the Retirement Lists ! I am going to miss so many of these fun products, but to be honest I am looking forward to saying goodbye and getting fully into the new and fun products in the Annual Catalogue ! The last retiring project I am showing you today uses the Storytime DSP again. I showed you a super fun project using these paper yesterday (go see it right here ) and I am using it again today !! My church is having a Yard Sale next weekend, and as a member of the Moms and Tots group, we were asked to donate some Grab Bags that they will sell to the kids. I bought some fun little treats to put in them, but of COURSE I had to make the bags as nice on the outside as the gifts were inside - right ?? Haha. I thought the cute kids of the Storytime DSP would be the perfect match ! Take a look at how sweet they turned out !!

Isn't that SO fun !?! And so easy !! I used some plain brown paper sacks (the 10 pound size) and adhered my DSP to the front. I then folded down the tops and stapled them on both sides. I used the beautiful retired 1-1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbons in Riding Hood Red or Soft Suede to wrap a big lovely bow around the top. I used some of the cute tags included in the DSP to dress it up a bit ! I cut a mat in coordinating cardstock colors and rounded all the corners with my 3/16" Corner Rounder Punch. I then punched a tiny hole with the 1/16" Handheld Circle Punch and hung the tag off the bow with some Linen Thread. Really quick but also beautiful !! Here are some close ups of the 5 bags I did.

F is for Fox !!

B is for Boat !! I love this pattern of the DSP. So perfect !

R is for Rabbit.

W is for Wagon.

And finally, A is fort Art. Love this cute paper too !! Just adorable.

Thanks a lot for coming by today !! These bags are so easy to make for any occasion - especially for a kids birthday party as loot bags !! Thanks so much for coming by today and get your last orders in if you need to for the old catalogue ! Have a great day and Happy Stamping !!
