Really Good Washi Tape

Hey Stampers,

This is gonna be a QUICK post today because I am still getting ready to go to my SU Retreat this afternoon !! YAY !! I am SO excited. I love getting together with other Demos and having some fun ! I thought I would share a clean and simple card with you today. I was going to save it for a Clean and Simple Sunday but I just couldn't wait !! Its THAT cute !! I got the idea from a card I saw on Pinterest by Jennifer Downey over at www.stampinglane.com. Hers used the Epic Day Washi Tape and was more of a grunge looking card, but I decided to use the Gingham Garden Washi for a more feminine version !! LOVE this sweet design !! Take a look at the easy card I made !!

Isn't that just DARLING !?! I have been kicking myself that I didn't but the Gingham Garden DSP on my preorder, but it is on my order coming next week. But the adorable Washi Tape is just as adorable and so easy to use ! I took a piece of Whisper White measuring 4" x 5-1/4" and I used the 3 designs of the Washi to make a little layered strips design. I love how if you layer then together s abit, you can see through to the other design ! I hope SU comes out with LOTS more Washi Tape - its so fun !! And all you need to do is tear it with your fingers, so easy. Then I used the beautiful sentiment from the Really good Greetings stamp set. I coloured it with my Melon Mambo and Night of Navy markers, and stamped it in the bottom corner. I took a scrap of Night of Navy card stock and used my Small Heart Punch to cut out a little window. Then I punched the Postage Stamp Punch around it - love using the heart's negative space to see that Washi peeking through !! I added a Daffodil Delight button tied with a bow of White Bakers Twine to the corner, and my card was complete ! I just added the layer to a Whisper White card base with some Dimensionals, love it !

Thanks a lot for coming by today !! Don't forget, if you haven't enter for my Blog Candy Giveaway on my Blog-o-versary Post you can do so until Monday evening !! Wouldn't you love to win a fun bundle of product !?! Theres nothing better than FREE right ?? Hahahaha Hope you guys have a lovely weekend and Happy Stamping !!
