A Round Array Bouquet

Hey Stampers,

Happy Saturday !! I am working today, but still happy its the weekend !! And also its now JUNE !! Isn't that nuts !?! This year is FLYING by !! The cute card I am showing you today has a lot of fun little elements. It is melding some retired colors, a fav sentiment set (that is ON SALE!) and a new set from the catalogue that went live YESTERDAY ! I got this idea for this adorable card from a similar project by Dena Rekow (www.drekow.typepad.com) that I saw on Pinterest. Lets take a look at this clean and simple card !!

Isn't that sweet !?! I love all of the white space. Really makes the beautiful flowers really POP. First, my color combo. It uses 2 retiring colors, Riding Hood Red and Lucky Limeade, and 2 current colors, Island Indigo and Perfect Plum. Love these 4 together ! I am totally going to miss Riding Hood Red ! It goes so well with so many colors, really a versatile color. My stamp set today is A Round Array. It is BRAND NEW and so cute !! Every stamp in this set can be punched out with the cute 7/8" Scallop Circle Punch. This card used the plain solid scallop for this card, kind of looks like a flower I thought ! I stamped one in each of my colors onto Whisper White cardstock and punched them out. I then added a small scalloped flower using the Itty Bitty Punch Pack. A Rhinestone in the middle of each really adds some fun sparkle. I added some little strips of Lucky Limeade cardstock to my Whisper White layer to look like stems, and then added the flowers on top with some Dimensionals. I knot of 1/8" Whisper White Taffeta to the middle of the stems makes the bouquet complete ! Love how cute it turned out.

My sentiment is from the great Sweet Essentials set. This fun set, along with Sassy Salutations and Petite Pairs - two more of my favourites -  are all on sale for 25% Off this month !! If you haven't grabbed up these awesome sentiment sets yet, this month is the perfect time !! I stamped the "friends" in Riding Hood Red ink and added a cute Island Indigo Printed Brad right next to it. These fun brads are retiring on MONDAY so add them to your order soon !! I matted my Whisper White piece onto a piece of Perfect Plum and added everything to a Lucky Limeade card base with some Dimensionals. This card overall is only small, 3" wide by 5" high. A great little size to add to a gift or pop in your kids (or
husbands) lunch box! Heres a peek at what I did with the inside too. Cute right !!

Thanks for coming to visit today !! I placed my order for a BUNCH of new goodies yesterday, so in about 2 weeks (yikes!) I will have LOTS of fun stuff to show you !! Hope you have a great weekend and Happy Stamping !!
