Two Tags Die Anniversary Treat Holder

Hey Stampers !!

Happy Friday to you !! I am in the process of reorganizing my Stamp Room, looking through my older stock of stuff that retiring (and that has been LONG retired) to try and see where I stand ! I also want to showcase on here some of the great retiring products before they are gone for good !! My project today is a treat holder that I am making for a lady's 40th wedding anniversary this summer ! She was at an event of mine, and asked if I could make her some treat holders. I came up with this SWEET treat holder using one of my fav retiring accessories, the Two Tags Die. I am also using the retiring Lovely Letters stamp set AND some River Rock ink and paper. Take a look !

Cute right !?! Where 40th is the "Ruby" anniversary, I was looking at all of our different reds and decided that Raspberry Ripple would be a nice rich one to go with. I die cut 2 of these scalloped tags from the Two Tags Die, and scored them along the bottom at 1". I folded on my score lines and adhered the 2 flaps together, making a little base for it to stand up. Its also the perfect spot for a sweet treat ! I cut a handle in both tags using my 1" Circle Punch, and tied it together with some Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon (retired). That was it for this simple holder ... then it was time to decorate it !!

I took a scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock and stamped the hearts image from the retired PS I Love You stamp set in River Rock ink. I love how 2 tone River Rock looks on Very Vanilla ! I then stamped the G from Lovely Letters (the initial of their last name) in Raspberry Ripple ink right on top of it. This was punched out with the Full Heart Punch, and I adhered it with a Dimensional to a River Rock 1-3/4" Scalloped Circle. A Basic Pearl (the largest one) finished off this beautiful project. I love how it turned out (and so did my customer). I now have to make 100 of them !!

If you love this project too, you better get your two Tags Die off the Retirement List before its gone forever ! This project is so great for all types of occasions - birthdays, Christmas, Thanksgiving, a baby shower ... you name it !! Thanks a lot for coming by today and Happy Stamping !!
