Pursuit of Style Two Tags Card

Hey Stampers,

Happy Monday to you ! I hope you had a great weekend. I was lucky enough to be able to sneak down to my Stamping Room yesterday to make a quick card. I find next to Birthday cards, Thank you cards are my most made (and given) cards. It seems like I always have some sort of reason to tell someone "thanks". For the card I am sharing today, I tried to use as much retiring product as possible. LOL So, I used my beloved Two Tags Die, the Elements of Style and Pursuit of Happiness stamp sets as well as the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder and the Brights Brads. I LOVE how elegant it turned out. Take a look !

Isn't that beautiful ! I am also loving this color combo of Soft Suede, Night of Navy and Rich Razzleberry. I saw some projects made with this combo in the NEW Annual Catalogue (I love being a demonstrator !! Haha Yay Sneak Peaks! ) and knew I wanted to make something with it as well. The first thing I needed to do was make my tag. I took a scrap of Crumb Cake cardstock and cut out my tag.  Then I took the beautiful flourish image from the Elements of Style stamp set and stamped it all over with Soft Suede ink. I love the look of Soft Suede on Crumb Cake. Then I took a piece of Very Vanilla and stamped my beautiful sentiment from the Pursuit of Happiness stamp with Night of Navy ink. This was then die cut using the Labels Collection framelits. I took a couple of small pieces of ribbon - the 5/8" Victoria Crochet Trim and the 1/4" Night of Navy Stitched Grosgrain - and fed it through the little slit in the tag. Then I kept it in place using an Antique Brad. Love that element ! I then took some pieces of cardstock and punched out some Boho Blossoms and Itty Bitty Punch scallops to make some flowers. I used some of my Rich Razzleberry Brights Brads for the centres, and adhered them to my tag using Glue Dots. I find it really easy to fluff up the petals once they are adhered down as opposed to beforehand. They are so small to work with otherwise !

My Very Vanilla layer measures 3-3/4" x 5" and I ran it through my Big Shot with the (sadly retiring) Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder. I will really miss this beautiful folder ! I then adhered it to a piece of Rich Razzleberry measuring 4" x 5-1/4". I then wrapped a piece of 3/8" Soft Suede Taffeta Ribbon around it close to the bottom, to add a bit more of the Soft Suede color. I tried a bow, but it was just too much. LOL I adhered my layer using Dimensionals to a Night of Navy card base, and then adhered my sweet tag with some Dimensionals as well. I am SO loving how this turned out !!

Here is a shot of the inside. I stamped the lovely flourish image again in Soft Suede that I had stamped off once, and then added the beautiful hummingbird image, also from Elements of Style, in Rich Razzleberry. The thank you sentiment is from the also retiring Curly Cute set. So many beautiful sets going away !! Leave me a comment telling my which stamp set or accessory YOU will miss the most ! But don't worry ... there are TONS of new products coming just around the corner for you to fall in love with !! Thanks a lot or coming by today and Happy Stamping !!
