Snow Flurry & Snowflake Soiree

Hey Stampers,

I am SO excited, because my December Stamp Club is tonight !! The last one for 2012. We have had SUCH fun this year ! Wouldn't you love to join us in January ?? Maybe your New Years Resolution is to be more creative or to take more time for yourself ?? Stamping would be the answer !! I already posted the other card we are making last week, so today I will show you the second one. I am REALLY proud of this card. I think it is SO beautiful !! It is a semi CASE from Karen Cumming ( Her card is uses lots of different things from mine, but thats where I got the idea !! Here is my version of her beautiful card ... what do you think ??

Don't you just LOVE it ?? I am obsessed with it. Hahaha. I hope my ladies like it too !! There are lots of steps to this card, but I think its totally worth it !! First I took the Crumb Cake layer and heat embossed the snowflakes from the Snowflake Soiree stamp set with White Embossing Powder and adhered it to an Early Espresso card base. I then die cut a Scallop Circle Bigz Die in Cherry Cobbler card stock, and embossed it with the beautiful Lacy Brocade embossing folder. I attached the scallop hanging off the card, and trimmed off the extra with my Paper Snips. I took a strip of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the smallest snowflake from the Snowflake Soiree set in Pool Party ink. Then I added the Believe sentiment (also from that set) in Early Espresso ink. Some flagged ends finished this piece off before it was added to the card with some Dimensionals.

Then was time for my much loved Snow Flurry Bigz Die !! I made 2 medium sized die cute with Pool Party cardstock and 2 of the small one in Silver Glimmer Paper. They got adhered together with some Glue Dots and a 1/2" Circle of Glimmer paper was added to the middle. A couple of Silver Glimmer stars, punched with the Merry Mini Punch Pack, added even more sparkly goodness. Love how blinged out this card is !!

Well, thats my card for today. Can't wait to make it again tonight in Stamp Club !! Thanks for dropping by and Happy Stamping !!
