Happy Hour Christmas

Hey Stampers,

Happy Saturday !! My work Christmas Party is tonight, so we are looking forward to that. I love a good Christmas party, don't you ?? Should be fun ! And it's only 9 more sleeps until Christmas !! It's coming SO fast this year, don't you think ?? But, you still have a bit of time to get out some last minute Christmas cards ! My card today is a simple one, so it would be easy to make a bunch of them in a short amount of time. it uses the fun Happy hour stamp set, which has a couple Christmas stamps in it ... don't forget to look though your "all occasion" sets for some inspiration as well !! Have a look.

Cute, right ?? This would be a great card to give to a host or hostess for one of the Christmas parties you will be going to this year. I stamped the fun drinking glass onto Very Vanilla cardstock in Cherry Cobbler ink, and added the holly spring that I coloured with my Cherry Cobbler and Gumball Green markers. Sweet !! This got punched out with the 1-3/4" Circle Punch and layered onto the 2nd smallest Window Frame Framelit. A quick and easy focal point !! I then took 3 different patterns from the Be of Good Cheer DSP and made some banners to run out from the drink image. Love this easy layout !!

My background layer of Very Vanilla got stamped with the cute Christmas sentiment from this stamp set. I used my Cherry Cobbler, Gumball Green and Early Espresso markers. I love using markers to make certain words pop on a sentiment. I then ran the piece through my Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. To add a bit more color to the left corner, I tied a knot in some 1/2" Cherry Cobbler Scalloped Dots Ribbon and wrapped the ribbon around the corner. A cleaner look than a bow, and a lot easier to mail ! This all got stuck onto an Early Espresso card base. Quick and simple !!

Well, thats my card for today. I really like how it turned out ! Thanks for stopping by today and Happy Stamping !!
