Too Kind Easter Treat

Hey Stampers,

Easter is this weekend, so I will be showing a couple fun Easter projects this week ! The one I am sharing with you today is a sweet treat I made for my son’s babysitter. I love how it turned out, take a look !!

Doesn't that look cute ?? I made this super easy and yummy Easter Marshmallow Bark, filled up a large mason jar and decorated it ! Very easy way to give a Easter gift. The fabric covering the mason jar is retired SU Twitterpated fabric, tied with (also retired) Island Indigo Ruffled Ribbon. See this next pic for a close up of the tag.

One of my favourite flower sets in the Annual Catalogue is the Too Kind set. Isn’t it beautiful on this tag ? The Chalk Talk framelit also layers so great with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch. Adorable !

Thats it for me today - thanks a lot for dropping by and Happy Stamping !!

Heartfelt Easter Banner

Hey Stampers,

I had a couple free minutes yesterday (and yes that is ALL the time this cute project took) so I decided to make a cute easter banner using the Heartfelt Banner Kit that I earned for FREE during Saleabration ! I am one of those people that do decorate their house for Easter - complete with a little “bunny village” that I put on my mantle in the living room ! I thought that this fun banner would look just darling underneath it - what do you think ??

Is that ca-ute or what ?? The sample pic that came with it showed attaching your own photos to the banner, but I used my Cricut to cut out the word Easter with my Calypso Coral, Pear Pizzazz and Coastal Cabana cardstock. Then I stamped them for some interest with a tiny heart stamp (from the SAB set Banner Blast), a polkadot stamp (from the Perfect Pennants set) and the Chevron background stamp. They turned out SO awesome !!

Here’s a little close up to show you some of the detail. I thought it needed a little bling (doesn’t’ everything ??) so I added some Silver Glimmer paper hearts and butterflies. LOVE this fun and quick project !!

Thanks so much for dropping by today - why don’t you make something beautiful for your house today !! Happy Stamping !!

CCC #025: March Challenge “Luck o’ the Irish"

Hey Stampers,

Another month means another challenge over at Catherine and Cathy Create !! For March we are getting a bit of inspiration from St Patricks Day !! Now I know what you’re thinking … who the heck sends St Patricks Day cards ?? Well, why not come up with a fun home decor project ?? Or just a fun card using all greens and golds or some fun drinks !! Or you can do what I did, and be inspired by a beautiful rainbow.

This beautiful card is really special to me. I know I spoke about expecting my next child on this blog, and I don’t want to get into too much, but our sweet daughter Rose Felicity Anne was born sleeping on January 19th. She was so perfect and beautiful and we think of our precious daughter constantly. One of the only bright spots in my life right now is my precious son Jackson. He truly makes me happy when skies are grey. I hope to blog a bit more frequently in the weeks to come, but I hope you will understand if I am missing in action sometimes.

Please come over to Catherine and Cathy Create to share your projects for our March Challenge. Would love to see you over there! Thanks so much for stopping by and Happy Stamping!

CCC020: January Cards Challenge - Birthday Bo-nan-za !!

Hey Stampers,

It is a rainy ugly day here in Newfoundland today - and after all the PILES of snow its making an icy slippery mess !! A lovely day to stay inside and get some stamping done ! But alas, I have to work. Hahaha I did pop down into my Stamp Room last night though to create a card for the Catherine and Cathy Create January Card Challenge !! The theme this month is Birthday Bo-nan-za !! You know now that Christmas is over, its the perfect time to stock up on some Birthday cards !! I don’t know about you, but it seems like somebody’s birthday is always sneaking up on me, and its always great to go to my card stash and pick out a card if you don’t have the time to make one right on the spot, right ??

For todays card I used the CUTE new set from the Occasions Catalogue, Another Great Year. Its SO cute and I love it !! If you haven’t seen it yet, please pop over to my online store and have a look at it ! And if you don’t have one of the fabulous Occasions Catalogues (and don’t already have a CANADIAN demonstrator) please let me know I would love to send you one !! So, take a look at this sweet card !!

Isn’t that just darling !?! I am so loving that HUGE birthday sentiment !! And the cupcakes ?? Too cute ! This color combo of Soft Suede, Blushing Bride, So Saffron and Coastal Cabana is so soft and delicious, love the pastel look after all the Christmassy colors !! Hahaha And of course the Ruffled Stretch Trim adds even more feminine cuteness. I used my Aqua Painter (very VERY carefully) to color my cupcakes. I know, I know. I didn’t use Watercolor Paper OR StazOn ink - but I really wanted the outline of the image to be in Soft Suede - so I was super careful to use minimal water and stay away from the ages as much as possible. I think it turned out great !!

Well thats it for me today !! Please come over to Catherine and Cathy Create and check out the GORGEOUS cards the rest of the Design Team came up with !! And play along too !! Thanks a lot for coming by today and Happy Stamping !!
